Higuerón West 217

Urbania has acquired from the SAREB a prime development site of 350.000 square meters just off the A7 highway in the municipality of Fuengirola. Planning is in place for the development of 87.000 square meters and a maximum of 900 apartments and villas. The location is adjacent to the well-established Reserva del Higuerón project with commercial development, a Hilton hotel, sports facilities and luxury residential development.

Once acquired, Urbania has now prepared the infrastructure plan for the entire site and expects to break ground by late summer 2017 once the permits are granted.

Urbania has worked closely with the top engineering and architectural firms in order to project a twenty-first century new town on the Costa del Sol incorporating the latest in environmentally friendly building materials and design elements that will reduce maintenance costs and enhance the quality of living for the future residents.

The Higuerón project is designed to create a new town living environment where permanent resident families and secondary home residents can live and work in a well-balanced environment.

Especial care has been taken to incorporate from the start the design and construction of parks, sports areas and small retail shops within walking distance of all the residential buildings.

All apartments have been designed following the critical successful Urbania designs of Icon-Marbella with large open interior spaces and over-dimensioned outdoor terrace areas. The first apartments and villas will be marketed at the end of 2017.
